Install PerfectStudio on Windows

v1.0 is unsigned — Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may show a warning the first time. Here's the 60-second walkthrough.

Download the installer

Click the Download button above. Your browser saves PerfectStudio-win-setup.exe (~130 MB) to your Downloads folder.

Click through SmartScreen

Microsoft Defender SmartScreen will likely show a blue warning panel that says "Windows protected your PC". This is because the installer isn't yet signed with an Extended Validation certificate.

What to click: "More info" link inside the warning panel → then the new "Run anyway" button that appears.

This is the same flow for any new indie Windows app before it earns SmartScreen reputation through downloads. Microsoft drops the warning automatically once enough people install.

Run the setup wizard

Pick an install location (default is fine), accept the licence, click Install. The wizard takes about 15 seconds.

Launch and activate

Open PerfectStudio from the Start menu (or the desktop shortcut). The free tier (3 ops/day with watermark) works immediately.

To unlock unlimited use, click the licence button in the sidebar and paste your PERF- (Pro) or PERB- (Studio) key.
